The Department of English understands the significance of English language skills that the young minds of science stream need in this competitive world. therefore, we cater to the needs of students in terms of personality development skills such as language and communicative skills, critical thinking skills, presentation skills, reading and writing skills along with many other soft skills that help the students of science in being competitive researchers and academic oriented personalities.

The department is known for its vivaciousness in developing interesting modules of creative language skills and research writing methodologies. Regular seminars / conferences, workshops, symposiums and hands on trainings are conducted to develop the language skills in students.

The 21st century demands English language skill as perhaps one of the highly prioritized skills in every student’s life and we don’t compromise with that. Therefore, apart from the prescribed textbook of English bythe University Board, many other language learning aspects are explored by the department and the best is delivered to the students of science.
